The Pyrolysis Process: From Waste to Wealth
How It Works
- 1. Feeding (2-3 Hours): Load raw materials into the reactor via manual door or auto-feeder.
- 2. Heating (8-10 Hours): Fire the furnace. At ~160°C, oil gas is generated and flows to the manifold.
- 3. Condensing: Oil gas passes through our 3-Stage Cooling System and condenses into liquid fuel oil.
- 4. Tail Gas Recycling (Energy Saving): Non-condensable gas (C1-C4) is recycled to heat the reactor, reducing your fuel cost to near zero.
- 5. Emission Control: All exhaust smoke goes through the scrubber system, ensuring clean, white steam release.
- 6. Discharging & Cooling: After the reactor cools down, carbon black and steel wire are discharged.

Q1: Do I need to shred the tires before pyrolysis?
It is Optional, depending on your budget.
No (Save Cost): You can load whole tires directly via the manual door. This saves you the investment of a shredder machine.
Yes (High Efficiency): If you choose to shred tires into 5-10cm pieces, you can use our Hydraulic Auto-Feeder. This increases feeding efficiency and allows you to load 20%-30% more material per batch compared to manual stacking.
Q2: How long does the feeding process take?
Manual Feeding: Approx. 2-3 hours (depending on labor speed).
Auto-Feeding: Approx. 1-1.5 hours (faster and less labor-intensive).
Q3: How long does one complete batch cycle take?
A standard cycle takes about 12-18 hours for the pyrolysis machine of capacity is 15 tons.

Q4: Will the plant produce bad smell or smoke during operation?
No. The entire system is fully sealed.
- Smell: The “smelly” non-condensable gas (Tail Gas) is recycled into the furnace and burned as heating fuel, eliminating odor.
Smoke: All exhaust smoke passes through our 4-Stage Scrubber System. The final emission is clean white steam, compliant with EU and EPA
Q5: Is the tail gas recycling safe? Will it explode?
It is 100% safe. We install a specialized Water Seal Device and Flame Arrestor in the gas line. This acts as a one-way safety barrier—gas can flow into the furnace to burn, but fire cannot travel back into the pipeline, preventing any risk of backfire.
Q6: How many containers are needed for one set of RKLJ-12 (12T) machine?
Typically, one set of RKLJ-12 requires:
1x 40ft High Cube (40HQ) container for accessories.
1x 40ft Flat Rack (40FR) container for the main reactor (over-width).
We optimize loading by packing small parts inside the reactor to save your ocean freight.
Q7: How long is the manufacturing time?
For standard Batch models RKLJ-5/10/12), the production time is 20-25 working days. For customized orders, it may take 30-35 days.
Q8: What if I can't come to China for inspection?
No problem. We provide a Live Video Inspection Service. Before shipping, we will live-stream the machine operation, show you the pressure test results, and measure steel thickness for you in real-time. We also accept third-party inspection (like SGS).
